RT's love of music began at an early age growing up near Pittsburgh, PA. His late sister Jas introduced him to Bob Marley in his formative years. After receiving his college degree in education, he found himself in a suit and tie, teaching people how to make a better way of life. But one day he realized that it was through music, he could reach more people with a deeper, spiritual message.

As the voice and face of The Earthtones. for the last 20 years, his philosophy of putting the music first has served him well. Over this time The Earthtones have touched hundreds of thousands of lives through the powerful spirit of reggae music.at clubs, concerts festivals and weddings throughout their home turf in central PA and to fans around the world who came to know the band while attending Penn State University and then moved back to their home country.

The fact that the message in much of reggae music is as contemporary to todays' events as it ever was, if not more, is not lost on RT. He's not afraid to say publicly that the emperor has no clothes and that the power of the people is a power we need to use and not give in to apathy.

RT looks forward to another 20 years with The Earthtones starting with the forthcoming, first all original album release since 1989.
