Is there a place for the hopeless sinner, who has hurt all mankind just to save his own.- Bob Marley

*****EARTHTONES REGGAE ALERT:*****

Cafe 210 is limiting us to ONE NIGHT PER MONTH now. And the dates they have booked us are the tougher nights for us to bring in a large crowd. We know and appreciate how you came out in strong numbers even on slow calendar weekends to support us and reggae music.

If you want us back to our usual 2 nights per month call them at:

814-237-3449

ask for the manager and let them know how you feel about it.

Update... 6/21/06...

Yes, it's been almost a year since we had an update to this page. Needless to say, all bands go through ups & downs. We haven't really had an official web master during this time. We DO appreciate all of our vintage fans and new as well for coming to our gigs and visiting these pages.

A band is a lot like a marriage except you find yourself married to 5 other people as in our case. Why anyone would want so many spouses I don't know except that we need each other to continue to reproduce this great music we have brought to you week after week, year after year for over 21 years now.

As a band we may be going through a mid-life crisis but we hope and pray to Jah that we will be able to continue the Earthtones tradition for many more years to come.

The Earthtones give a big shout out and love to Jill in York!!!

Jack D. Carlson,

August 10, 1953 - September 25, 2005

Jack was a good friend of the band for many years and a local sound engineer mixing dozens of bands during the 1980's in central PA. He loved good music, especially Frank Zappa. You knew when you played a gig that he was mixing he'd be the one guy you could count on to tell you the unvarnished truth about how well you played that evening and I appreciated that. He was a real sweet guy.and if you needed something fixed last minute he'd do his best to get it done for you. He built custom equipment for me and others.

We'll miss you Jack,

Lock Haven Floating Stage, 8/14/05...

OK, this was not an irie gig. We got rained out. Unfortunately, it wasn't canceled before we had set everything up and then got caught in an incredible downpour accompanied by high winds. We had everything covered with tarps and plastic but the wind was so strong that we had to hold the plastic on the gear ourselves getting totally drenched in the process. We still don't know if any gear was damaged by the water but we are talking thousands of dollars worth of equipment that was put into a very risky situation.

It was a 3 gig weekend for us which is unusual for us these days. We wish we could have ended it on a better note but at least we got to go home early and catch up on some much needed sleep.

Peace!

Proud Mary Cruise 8/13/05....
Well, Mother Nature and Lady Luck were with us this year and we performed out on the top deck under a beautiful pale orange half moon. The weather was perfect! We got a delayed start to our show because of a mix-up as to when the boat needed to arrive for us to move and set up our gear. Typically, we as a six piece band with our own sound system need 2 hours minimum to set up and be ready to play. It only takes an hour to break down but when you add up the travel time, set up time, the performance time and the break down time we may put in any where form a 9 to 12 hour day ON TOP of our regular day jobs!

How's that for dedication to the music? So when we say we appreciate your support, believe it.

Respect!

Burgi's, 8/12/05....

Being that we are into the dog days of summer things were a little slow at Burgi's. We thank those of you who have come out many times before for your support and we hope you enjoyed the show. We'd like to thank Marco for mixing and moving. Thanks to the Burgi's staff for taking care of us too.

We won't be back here until October 14th so mark your calendars.

Jah Guide!

Café 210, 8/6/05...

And the band played on...

W O W! If you missed this one you missed the band slammin' the reggae grooves all night long. Kudos to the Tones for giving a fantastic performance above and beyond.
We'd like to thank
Arlo for doing a great job on sound. As everyone in a band knows, the sound mixer can make or break you and we've been very lucky lately with a spate of great mix engineers.

We had an irie irie time and thank all of the familiar folks who keep coming back. Remember to bring your friends who've never heard the Earthtones or reggae music for that matter. Share the irie times! And tell them to bring their dancing shoes!

Until then...Peace!

Hiawatha Riverboat, 7/30/05...

Definitely one of our favorite gigs of the year. How many bands get to play on a riverboat going down the Susquehanna? As always we'd like to thank Fred of Franco's in Williamsport for taking real good care of us and Don for the live sound system.

Café 210, 7/29/05...

Back to our crib and all is well. It was a great turn out for the summer months when many people are away for various reasons. For those of you who stay in the area we thank you profusely.

One can't top Arts Fest but you all made it a fun night regardless.

Peace!

Central PA Festival Of The Arts., 7/17/05...

Wow! Our biggest and most fondly anticipated gig of the year did not disappoint. Who knows how many thousands of you came out to celebrate the arts, summer and life with us. We surely felt and heard your presence even if the night falling made it hard to see all of you. Thank you so much for being there and being an integral part of what we do. We could not do it without your support and we thank you, our families and friends from the deepest part of our hearts.

Special thanks to Natalia Pilato and Jordan Thompson for adding some sweet sounds to the show again this year.

Our friend Tom "T-Bone" Edmonds, mixer extraordinaire, was going to mix the show but became very ill shortly before hand. We want to send out a special prayer to him for a speedy recovery at the Harrisburg hospital. And thanks to Marco Guzeman for mixing us in spite of a flat tire and a long walk on the way to the show.

Praise Jah!

Peace!

Burgi's, 7/15/05....

Burgi's is always fun. First of all, it's got to be one of the coolest looking clubs in the area. If you haven't heard us here yet you really owe it to yourself to get out there and check it out. It's big, clean, and comfortable with a huge dance floor, a great house sound system and friendly folks who are regulars and also not the least of which is the staff and management.

Shout out to Rosemary, Kelly & Eva!

We will be back August 12th. See you there!

Jah Guide!

Penn Stater, 7/12/05...

Thanks to the Pennsylvania Prothonataries for having us party with them at their conference. We played outside on a very warm sticky July night and the food was great, the drinks were cold and the spirits were irie!

Thanks also to the staff at the Penn Stater for being extremely helpful and nice to us. You guys ROCK!

We hope to do it again next year!

Respect!

Café 210, 6/25/05...

What can we say about the Café we haven't already said? We love it here. The staff is great. The fans are great. The women are beautiful. The Whipple Brothers do a great job on the lights. Amanda Kole did a great job mixing us through the house sound system. Unfortunately for us, we have to say good-bye to her. She has packed up and moved to Philly. We will miss her and wish her well. Good luck Amanda!

Thanks to all who came out to The Earthtones Reggae Party!

We will see you all again Friday July 29th.

Jah Guide!

Banana Joe's, 7/8/05...

The weather was at least 30 degrees warmer this time around and we had a better show as well. The turnout was better too... imagine that! Banana Joe's is a really cool place and we like playing here. Thanks to all who came out and danced. We will be back so help us get more folks to come out the next time we are here on August 19th and let's have a

blow out summer reggae party!

Thanks to long time fan Jill for driving 3 hours to come hear us play. Let's book those 2 weeks in Jamaica Jill. Shout out to Indie... hope you liked
No Woman, No Cry and send us your demo!

Have a great summer all!

Peace!

Burgi's, 7/3/05....

Ah, back at Burgi's! We love coming here and enjoying the atmosphere, the people and the house sound system. Thanks to Marco for doing a great job as audio engineer. We hear the food is great too. Not only that but we have to say that we are amazed at all of the beautiful women who work and play here. Wow!

Anyhow, we had a hoppin' night this evening. There was a great Happy Hour duo, fireworks, dancing on the bar and many friends old and new.

Thank you all for coming out to Celebrate Independence Day with us and if you haven't done so in a while, read our Constitution to remind yourselves of the precious freedoms our forefathers fought and died for. Believe it or not, there are those in our government today who think our Constitution grants us too much freedom. Can you imagine that?! They want to take many of our freedoms away. We can't let that happen. As Bob Marley said, "Get up. Stand up. Stand up for your rights!"

Praise Jah!

Le Bistro, 7/1/05...

That's better...the weather that is. We've had our share of rain or cold temps. at outdoor gigs. This our 3rd time back was beautiful and they were calling for terrible storms the day before. Thank you Jah!

It's always a pleasure to play at Le Bistro at Raystown Resort near Entriken, PA, It's a beautiful setting with the band playing on the deck outside and the lake behind us. They have a grille going near us cooking up some amazing food all the while we are performing. By the time we take our break we are ready to chow down. Thanks to Gina and Janice for having us back and taking good care of us and to the folks we've seen return from previous years.

Have a great summer and we'll see you next year!

Jah Guide!

Café 210, 6/25/05...

It's been a quiet June for us. We are taking advantage of the time to kick back a little and get some new tunes out on the stage. We've recently added some Peter Tosh, Stevie Wonder, and a new original with more coming soon.

We are also preparing for our gig of the year at the 2005 Central PA Festival of the Arts on July 17th at Penn State University Park campus. It will be our 17th year in a row closing out the 5 day event. We will have RT's son Jordon Thompson sitting in again this year on guitar and keyboard as well as local artist/percussionist Natalia Pilato.

We can't say it's not exhausting as well as exhilarating to play for 2 hours and 15 minutes without a break. We think of this gig as a way to thank thousands of our fans for over 20 years of support, through the good times and the bad. It's what every band lives for.

Right now we feel like The Earthtones have hit their stride again and are setting a new bar in their performances.

So come out and celebrate life with The Earthtones before the summer is gone and hear all of the new songs we have added to our set.

We trust we will see you soon!

Peace!

Café 210, 6/17/05...

It was one of those beautiful Spring nights when hanging outside is very hard to resist. The benefit for those inside at the Café was more room to dance to a night of deep, tight reggae & soca grooves, get a seat and not have to plan a trip to the restroom far in advance. ;)

Not only that; the folks outside missed the debut of a new Earthtones cover of Bob Marley's song, "Guiltiness" done in a hip hop style that rules. In fact, we will be debuting more covers and original songs very soon.

So thanks to all of you who chose dancing and partying with The Earthtones indoors on a beautiful night. To those native central PA folks who weren't there, remember: summer is the best time to come hear us and not have to deal with crowded conditions. Although, if you're single and you remember your more youthful days, crowded can be quite exciting for various reasons, if you know what we mean. ;)

Oh ya know Summer is here because we can feel a mischievous sort of glee spreading over us right now.

We can never say it too much...we love all of you and can't tell you how much we appreciate your support.

Have An Irie Summer 2005!

Jah Guide!

Memorial Day Weekend

We'd like to pause and remember those who have sacrificed for our country and especially those who have paid the ultimate price. We do not want to forget those who are still sacrificing for us today, in Iraq and Afghanistan. We also send out our prayers to the innocent civilian men, women, children and old people who have suffered and died as well. To those who have been directly effected by war we pray that peace be with you and your family.

For the wars we are currently fighting we pray that Jah will grant our leaders the wisdom and courage to stop the insanity and find their humanity to see fit to bring our troops home now.

Café 210, 5/27/05...

The Café was almost totally empty except for the outdoor seating when we arrived. We wondered, did we forget to send out our fan email? Should we wait for more people to show up before we start? Is it going to be one of those long nights of playing our hearts out to no response? We waited. No one came in. Then we decided to start the show anyway. All of a sudden everyone came in from outdoors. The room filled. People danced from the get go. And all was right in the land of Café 210.

Thank you so much for coming out to the Earthtones Reggae Party!

You all were simply marvelous!

A shout out to Brian, Ola, Nicole, Jessie, Andy, and Nancy!

Happy 21st Birthday Emily!

We'll be back June 17th so mark your calendars, tell your friends and get ready for another...

Earthtones Reggae Party!

Praise Jah!

Banana Joe's, 5/20/05...

Yes Mon... ;-)
you never know what to expect when you play outside especially in the Spring or Fall. Well, we took our chances and we saw the core of the irie souls who braved the 43 degree weather with us at the outdoor stage here at Banana Joe's this cooler than cool evening.

We will be back July 8th and would guess that it will be much warmer and we hope to see you then.

Thanks again to the irie revelers who graced the outdoors when they could have been inside. Thanks to Bob on the sound system and to Keith for sitting in on percussion.

'Till next time...

Stay warm!

Peace!

Café 210, 5/14/05...

CONGRATS GRADUATING SENIORS!

The Earthtones wish you all the best in your future endeavors. May your lives be filled with

PEACE, LOVE & HAPPINESS.

We had mega-tons-o-fun celebrating with you here at the Café. Your college years are times you will remember for the rest of your lives and we are honored that you chose to celebrate your Last College Party with The Earthtones.

Graduation weekend is always a great time. We felt your energy and gave it back to you by reaching even deeper into our playing. You danced, you sang, you partied and you drove us to put on one of our best shows.

ENERGY was POSITIVE, GROOVE was DEEP, SOLOS SOARED, HARMONY was SWEET.

Special thanks to Dave Whipple, lighting engineer, for making us look good and Amanda Kole, audio engineer, for making us sound good. Thank you Hal & Cindy for another great school year here at Café 210 and all the staff for taking great care of all of us.

And last but not least thanks to the band for all of their work, talent and just plain being good people.

Respect. Dread Out.

Dance like no one is watching. Sing like no one is listening. Love like you've never been hurt and live like it's heaven on Earth.

Burgi's, 5/7/05...

It's great to be back at Burgi's. We got to start at 10 PM which is earlier than what we are used to at other venues. It was a slower night than usual at Burgi's. Summer is coming and people go on vacation. None-the-less the band thumped out a deep groove as always and the folks who were there danced the night away.

We'd like to thank all of you who came out and hope to see you again next time. Don't forget, you can see us at Café 210 in State College which is only 40 minutes away. And remember to bring your friends along to the

Earthtones Reggae Party.

Peace!

The Phyrst, 5/6/05...

It was good to be back at the Phyrst but we did experience some technical problems with the in house PA system and the advertising. We are always happy not to have to load in & out our own PA system but you must remember that an in house system gets a particular amount of abuse and this particular night we fell prey to what appeared to be an immenent total melt down, Also, for some reason the paper and the TV had another band listed as playing at the Phyrst this night and that doesn't help our cause either. All in all they caused us some grief in keeping the irie energy going but we did manage to work around and through it thanks to you and the band. We don't give up easily.
We apologize for the lull in energy and thank you for your irie vibes and patience.

Thanks to Jack Wilkinson as always for the use of his fabulous drums.

As usual you guys are the best fans we could ask for.

Praise Jah!

Café 210, 4/29/05...

It was a good night here at Café 210. The weather is very much on the cool side for spring but great for dancing inside to a heavy reggae beat. As usual we saw many familiar faces and new ones as well. We thank all of you who come back to see us and bring along your friends so they can enjoy an irie evening of reggae music too. Cassie was there with her "Hot For Teacher" bar tour. You could pick them out easily in their hot pink t-shirts.

As the semester comes to and end, we'd like to congratulate all graduating seniors and wish you the best in your future. May you be blessed with love, peace and happiness the rest of your days.

We'd like to send a shout out to Angie & Melissa!

Dickinson College, Earthfest, 4/23/05...

Well, this would have been out first outdoor gig of the year except for the weather. Actually, the weather reports had called for cold temps. rain and wind, so everything was set up inside. And wouldn't you know it, it was a beautiful afternoon after all. That understandably made it hard to draw people indoors even if they were giving away free hamburgers and veggie burgers.

April is a tough month to get lucky with the weather but always worth a shot. Thanks to LA Audio sound system engineers, Dan and Lance for their great work getting the sound together and Haley and the Earthfest organizers for having us.
Let's try again next year and pray for better weather forecasting.

Praise Jah!

The Phyrst, 4/22/05...

Another hot night at the Phyrst! Mon, it was cookin'!

Energy ~ Energy ~ Energy!!!

Thanks for your kind words. What we do is a labor of love and with your support, we get to bring it to you. Not to mention, your dancing, singing and cheering push us to give even more back to you. It's a simple beautiful thing actually, if you think about it. What we all do right here in a cozy little bar is an example of how the world can get along and spread the peace. And all it takes is a willingness to be irie.

The Earthtones thank you for that.

Shout out to Abbey!

Peace!

Burgi's, 4/8/05...

Well, it is that time of year when the weather turns nice and everyone thinks, "do I really want to be inside?" even at night. We understand wanting to be outside when Spring finally arrives in central PA We will say that those of you who weren't here, you missed out on some truly awesome dancing and reggae vibes. Ohhh yes I!

We did have many regulars who came out and we give a big thanks to you all,

especially,

Rosemary, Serena, Joyelle, [spell?] Jamie, Andrew & Matt.

Until next time... enjoy Spring!

Praise Jah!

Café 210, 4/1/05...

Well, it's about time we had a slow night here at the Café! It wasn't terrible but still, on the positive side, it made for less cigarette smoke and more room to dance. We've been doing so well here for so long that it's bound to happen sometime. But don't let it happen again! ;)

Hey, jammed packed has it positives too of course. All in all there was lots of dancing and the band pumped out the grooves. Thanks to all who came out to share the irie times with us.including Cedalia, Paulvina, Lauren, Nancy and Rosie.

We're hope to see everyone here again Saturday April 16th.

Until then...

Peace!

The Phyrst, 3/25/05...

We're not sure what's going on here at The Phyrst that makes us play with SO MUCH ENERGY! Maybe it's the intimate atmosphere, the crowd being so close and singing & dancing far into the wee hours. Maybe it's because the band is so close to each other on stage and really being able to hear each other extra well. Maybe it's the sound of the room and the sound system or our banging it out more acoustically than other places we play.
Whatever it is, we're hooked!

We'd like to thank our new fans for coming out on Easter Weekend. We had a full house and a lot of fun. We'd like to thank the staff and Scott for having us back. We just added some new dates on our Gigs page here at the Phyrst for April & May, so check it out. Special thanks to Mark Ross for letting us borrow his guitar amp. It's a Barker. It sounds amazing and can only be gotten at Alley Cat Music.

Until next time...

Jah Guide!

Valley Inn, 3/19/05...

Well, we'd just like to say thank you to everyone for coming out to see our last gig at the Valley Inn. It was definitely a good way to go out. We just wish we could have seen turn outs this big here before. Sometimes that's just the way it goes. The staff were particularly good to us and we want to give them an extra special thanks.

Also thanks to one of our most supportive fans and friend, Jill, for bringing us a 20th Anniversary birthday cake. That was really very sweet of you. Yes, it really is the Earthtones 20th Anniversary this month and we are feeling it. [just kidding]. We feel like the best times are yet to come and certainly we are having one great time right now.

Happy 20th Anniversary Earthtones!

Praise Jah!

Café 210, 3/18/05...

The night started off a bit slow but then flew into high gear by the second set. Did we tell you how much we love playing for you guys? The music was thumpin' thanks to Amanda on the sound system and the lights were awesome thanks to Bob.

What can we say except that we can't wait to come back and do it again. You guys are the best!

Think Spring!

Respect!

Café 210, 2/26/05...

Yes I...back to back gigs in State College!
There was a time a few years ago when we wouldn't be able to pull that off so well. Thanks to all of you and our many new friends, we are able to fill both venues. We consider Café 210 our crib. Every time we play here it's always a great turn-out and you are all so irie that we could not ask for a better hometown gig.

We are getting more pics on our Web site. Hopefully we got some more of you last night. Thanks to Skerry for taking the pics for us. Thanks to Amanda on sound system and Dave for doing such a great job on lights as usual.
Our new originals are starting to become crowd favorites. Last night we had a request for "Dogs In The Street" which is actually a classic Earthtones original from the Reagan era that is suddenly topical again. Hmmm....imagine that! ;-)

We are off until March 18th when we will be back here at the Café. Until then...

Jah Guide!

The Phyrst, 2/25/05...

Our second gig at the Phyrst was major irie fun. With these days of big sound systems and sound engineers at live performances, everyone expects CD quality sound in a live situation. Here at the Phyrst it is the old school that works. Meaning, things are done the way they originally were...with just the basics. The result is lots of energy between band members and the audience. OK, it doesn't hurt that 2 of the Earthrones are professional audio engineers .
There was such an amazing amount of energy and synchronicity on stage and in the audience that we are eager to do it again.

So then, let's see you all here Friday March 25th to do it again. Don't forget to bring a friend to sing and dance the night away. It'll be a night to remember.

Peace!

THON/Rec Hall, 2/19/05...

Raised over 4.1 million FOR THE KIDS!

Wow...This was an experience to remember! THON, one of the biggest and most successful local benefits, did not fail to impress. It was great to see so many people with the single-minded goal of doing good. The energy was incredible! Kudos to the dancers, volunteers, organizers and all who made THON happen. We were honored to be part of it and wish them even more success in the future.

Burgi's Roundtable, 2/12/05...

Helloooooooo Altoona!
Boy are we glad we found Burgi's! This was our second time here at Altoona's premier club and we couldn't have asked for a better turn out or enthusiasm. You filled the large dance floor...you cheered...you screamed...you sang along...and you stayed all night. And by the way, we couldn't help noticing some of the sexiest dancing we've ever seen. You go Altoona!

The Earthtones thank you!

Until next time [April 8th]

Valley Inn, 2/11/05...

Another small turn out for us here at The Valley Inn. We love the staff here. It's a cool place with great food but we played our first gig here on Feb. 7th 2004 and have not been able to increase our turn out. Those of you who have come out to see us, we thank you for your enthusiastic support. Maybe there just aren't enough fans of reggae music in the Williamsport area. A truism of the music business is that one has to find their audience. We have thousands of fans in the State College.area. It has been tough for us to build a large enough following in the Willaimsport/Lock Haven area to be financially viable for us to keep coming back.

We do have one more gig booked here on March 19th.
It will be our last gig here unless something bordering on the miraculous happens as far as turn out. For those of you who want to hear reggae in the Williamsport area, this may be your last chance for a while.

Special thanks to Dave & Jessica.

Peace!

Café 210, 2/4/05...

A HUGE turn out at the Café this night and it just keeps getting better and better! Thank you all for spreading the word about The Earthones Reggae Party and bringing your friends. As usual, we had a very irie time. We had some technical problems during the evening that at one point forced Chris to play a 5 minute guitar solo. Wait a minute...who ever heard of a guitar player complaining about getting a 5 minute guitar solo? Well, he said he used up all of his licks for the evening. We thank you for your patience with the delays.

A big shout out to Rasta Nancy!

We are adding more new songs ~ more new originals. Thank you so much for your support and positive response to our original songs.

New pictures should be coming online soon. So keep an eye out for them. There'll be new pics of you all at the shows...new pics of the band at the shows...new pics of the band in rehearsal...new pics of the band shoveling snow etc.

Don't forget to check out other local places we'll be playing in the near future including THON Saturday, Feb. 19th [no age requirement]

Until next time...

Jah Guide...Peace!

The Phyrst, 1/28/05...

Our first gig at the Phyrst [well, in 15 years] was a blast! We did not begin at the usual time because the Jason McIntyre Band, who were really cool, played happy hours [8 PM - 10:20 PM] and we could not take the stage as early as we had hoped,. We apologize. We tried to squeeze in the same amount of songs though and almost made it. Next time we will try to get you a more accurate start time in the "When" cell on the Gig Page.

To all of you who come to hear us on a regular basis, Cassie, Jason, Rosie and Tendai, thank you for coming to see us at the Phyrst. You guys are great! Thanks also to our new friends Big Red, Dan, Luke, Abbey Dana, & Erica. We very much appreciate your kind words of support and welcome to...

The Earthones Reggae Party!

Thanks also to Scott for having us and Rob, Danté and staff for taking good care of us. We will be back so stay posted.

Peace!

Notice:

Café 210, 1/21/05...

YYYYessss!!!!

What a way to start off

2 0 0 5!

A very big turnout of irie revelers was here at the Café and you were great! You all give us back so much energy...and our goal is to give it right back to you. And that's as it should be. The energy was so strong and so positive and so irie...we could not have asked for more.

You guys ROCK!

As promised, we debuted 2 new originals,
"Dogs In The Street" which is an Earthtones classic original that we revived with updated lyrics and new background vocals. Yes mon, the dogs are definitely in the street big time. So we had to bring this one back.
"Out On The Floor" is a brand new original soca dedicated to all of the fabulous ladies in the house. You all seemed to enjoy them a lot thank you very much!

We very much appreciate your coming out to hear us, getting up to dance, singing along, and cheering us on.
We love you!

Special thanks to Cassie, Jason, Rosie, Ola & Brian for coming out to the reggae party.

Peace!

2005

Mark your calendars!

The Earthtones will be back at Café 210 to play their first gig of the year on Friday, Jan. 21st @ 10:30 PM. We've had a long vacation and will be super psyc'd to see you all and pull out all of the stops on our return including news songs that you won't want to miss.

Until then Peace and Jah Guide!

Thanks to all of the local folks who came out to celebrate the holidays with us. It's nice to know that when most of the student population is out of town, you all come out to get your irie ya-ya's out with us :)

And thanks to everyone for a great year here at the Café. We intend to make 2005 an even better year here. The band hopes to release at least one new live CD this year as well as a studio recording of the new originals that we have been working on. We are very pleased with how the new originals are coming together and how the first two, Stevie Reggae Vaughn and Babylon Prayer have been received.

Thank you very much for your encouragement As we write, arrange and rehearse the next two, know that you are an important part of this process.

A shout out to Nancy our friend in dread!

Have a safe and Happy New Years and remember, we will be back at the Café Friday, January 21st.

Praise Jah Rastafari!

Café 210, 12/04/04...

If you've been reading this page regularly you will notice how much we love playing at Café 210 and how our following has grown here over the last year or so. Last Saturday night was no exception. When we arrived to set-up our gear it was practically empty by Cafe standards but by the end of the first set it was packed with a dancing, singing, cheering enthusiastic crowd of many familiar faces. We could not ask for a better group of folks to come out and celebrate life with us. And that's how we see it. Every day is precious and we can't think of a better way to show that than to come here and have as much fun as possible with all of you feeling the same vibrations and irie feelings. We could not do it without your support and we thank you very much for that. We will always try to give you the best show we can every time we hit the stage no matter where or when.

We want to give shout outs to Paul, Sarah, Rachel, Liz, Bethany, Tendai, Cassie & Jason. Special thanks to Amanda on the sound system.

We hope to do it all over again with you here on Dec. 18th. So mark it down on your calendars and until then...

Peace!

Café 210, 11/26/04...

We hope you all had a Happy Thanksgiving visit with family and friends and ate well too. Our hearts and prayers go out to those less fortunate than ourselves and to our troops far from home around the world.

It was a typical holiday weekend at the Café, meaning, slower but none-the-less great, because there was a little more breathing room for folks who normally don't come out on the crowded weekends. There's more room to cut loose and dance and then rest your dancin' feet and sit down.
We look forward to seeing you again soon at our next gig here in the crib on Dec. 4th.

Until then may Jah be with you.

Peace!

New News...

We've begun a project assembling a live recording for release. We are recording almost every time we play live now in hopes of capturing a magical night of the current Earthtones line-up as it has been for the last 4 years. This line-up has not been recorded for release yet and since this group of guys is gellin' so well, we are anxious to make recordings of the band available to our fans. If you have some favorite songs that we perform live, let us know so we can take your favorites into consideration when deciding on the final 12.

Not to mention, we are still working on writing and arranging a bunch of new originals that we hope to record in our studio for future release as well. We are currently performing 2 of them at our shows, Stevie Reggae Vaughn and Babylon Prayer. Some new originals you will be hearing live soon are, Out On The Floor, New Superpower and a classic Earthtones original that we are bringing back, Dogs In The Street.

Keep coming back to hear the new Earthtones originals and get your screams on tape.

As always we truly apprecitiate your support.
Thank you and...

Jah Guide.

Burgi's, 11/19/04...

Wow! Burgi's ROCKS!

We didn't know what to expect coming to Burgi's for our first time, but we were more than pleasantly surprised. Burgi's is a new huge bar and grille with a big dance floor, and a fantastic in house sound system. It's very clean, the service is great, and there's plenty of parking. What more could anyone ask for? Oh yeah...The Earthtones will be back again soon to rock the house.
Many thanks to Paula, Dave, Shannon, Serena, Chrissy, Cathy, Joey, Rosemary, Ashley, Ryan and the staff. We thank Dave and Paula for having us...Ryan for help with the sound system...Rosemary for coming to more of our gigs than anybody and Serena for shaking the tambourine.

We really can't wait to come back. Make sure to check back to our gig page to see when we will be at Burgi's again and remember to bring your friends because it promises to be a very IRIE time!

Peace!

Valley Inn, 11/13/04...

Well, we were beginning to worry about the Williamsport area but you guys came out in greater numbers this time and we really appreciate it. Thank you Jessica and Dave for taking good are of us. We enjoyed ourselves. You all danced up a storm and gave us a lot of energy back. That's what makes an evening enjoying live music special. When the energy cycles back and forth between the band and the audience. You guys were great.

Thanks again!

Jah Guide

Café 210, 11/12/04...

It was a really good night at our home, Café 210. We want to send out a special hello to Tendai, Ola and Brian. Thanks especially to Ola & Brian who come to almost every Café gig. Tendai is joining that tradition. Along with Tendai we've made other new friends too. We had a great time as always. Thanks to everyone who came out to see us and everyone who works at the Café.

GOOD NEWS!

The band is busy working on some new material that we hope to bring to you soon. Some are classic reggae, some are hip hop versions of classic reggae. Also we are relearning an old Earthtones original along with some brand new originals. So keep coming back to check out all of the new songs.

It's going to be a super irie time! Let's keep the good times rollin'

Peace!

Crowbar 210, 10/30/04...

This was an all age show benenfit for THON here at Penn State. It was a full house! The JR & Katie Band went on first and they were excellent. We were next and played an unusually short set for us [only 45 minutes] but it was energy packed. West Of The Horizon followed us and they were great too. All in all it was a great night for a great cause.
Thanks to everyone involved with putting it together and asking us to be a part of it.

Peace!

Café 210, 10/30/04...

Every band should be so lucky as to have a place to play like Café 210 West. The staff, the stage lights and house sound system ROCK! But that's not all, you, our fans, are the icing on this cake. Many bands don't get many folks to come out and hear them. Some get good crowds but no audience feedback to speak of. Then there's you...man you guys make us feel like it's all worth it. Sure we love the music we play...and we are all actually good friends...we hope this comes across while we play this great music.

When we play to almost empty rooms and there is little or no audience response [yes it does happen] the energy required to get through the gig is staggering. But after playing almost 3 hours straight here at the Café we are left feeling energized because of the positive vibrations and love we feel coming back from you.

The Earthtones thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Praise Jah and don't forget to
Vote on November 2nd,

Peace!

Valley Inn, 10/29/04...

One of our fans drove 3 hours to see us this night. But unfortunately, it was another slow night here at The Valley Inn. The people who did show danced their proverbial buns off. We very much appreciate that. The staff here is friendly, the food is great, the room is big with plenty of room to dance, play pool or hang at the bar. There's plenty of parking too.

Where are you Williamsport?

OK, we will be back here Saturday November 13th. If you want us to keep coming back we need to see a bigger turn out next time.

We'll be looking for you.

Peace!

Valley Inn, 10/01/04...

OK...so people do read this page. I got a couple of comments asking why there was no posting for this gig. Well, it was a test just to see if anyone would notice. The verdict is in and you do read it.
Excellent!

All in all things need to pick up quite a bit here at the Valley Inn. You folks that do come out and have an irie time need to bring your friends with you the next time we are here. We very much appreciate your attendance but we will simply not be able to keep it going if we can't build up a little more each time we come back. Unfortunately, we are bound by the simple but cold reality of business.

So come on Williamsport area reggae fans...let's get it going!

Dread out.

Café 210, 10/8/04...

It was simply a marvelous night! A tremendous turnout! Penn State home football weekends are extra special because it's great to see the alumni mixing it up with our regular irie fans. The night was was big, loud and the vibrations were positive. This is what we like to see and hear. There were so many people feeling irie...together in the same space...moving to the deep reggae grooves and breaking a sweat on the socas.

How we thank you is by pouring more of ourselves into the music...thanking you personally after the show...as well as right here in these pages and, by learning new songs.

Thank you so much and let's do it again soon. We will be back here Saturday, October 30th at 10:30 PM. Mark your calendars...tell your friends...

the irie party continues!

Peace!

Banana Joe's, 9/25/04...

Wow! This was our first time here at Banana Joe's and what a club! It's huge...it's cool looking...it's comfortable...it's friendly...with plenty of parking...the beer taps are clean! You name it, Banana Joe's has it all. We knew we would love playing here from the moment we arrived. The stage [outside] was of a good size with acoustical treatments. The sound system was top notch. Thanks to Bob, the sound engineer, for such a quick, great and easy sound check. When the sound system is this good with great people running it, it not only makes our job easier but it allows us to put forth our best performance. And that is what we did.

Thank you all very much for everything!

We haven't traveled this far to play a show in quite a while. The last thing a band wants is to travel 3 hours one way to find a tiny poorly run club with lousy sound. We are anxious to come back to Banana Joe's again soon. Stay tuned to our GIG page for upcoming dates.

Peace!

Café 210, 9/24/04...

We only dancin' here at the Café this night. Big thanks to Dave & Tevis for making us look and sound so good. Thanks to the management & staff for taking good care of us and especially thanks to you in the audience for making us feel so irie! You are reason we do what we do. OK, we'd probably still get together in our basements now & then to make music but with you in the equation we get so much more. The energy you give back to us is incredible. When we go home at the end of the night we are still psyched and running off the energy you gave back to us. We mean it when we thank you and we trust that you feel the same way.

One thing we've learned through the years is that it's easy to take for granted the good things in life. But the saying "Life is short" is so true. These times are finite.

So let's keep it going! We will be looking for you again Friday October 8th here at the Café.
Until then Jah guide.

Peace!

The Earthtones wish Chris "Kep" Kepler a Happy Birthday!
Chris has become one fine reggae bass player since joining the band 3 years ago. Little did we know then how lucky we were to have him come on board.

We wish you many, many more Chris!

Praise Jah!

Café 210, 9/3/04...

Big night at the Café.

Not only are all of the students back but it was the first home football game weekend. And it did not disappoint. Big crowds of folks dancing and singing along to the reggae groove and messages of spiritual redemption. We want to thank Bob for filling in for his brother Dave on lights and Tevis our first official Earthtones sound engineer/mixer for doing such a great job. We hope you all had an irie time and hope to see you again when we will be back here at the Café on September 24th.

Remember to keep the irie spirit alive until then!

Peace!

Private Party, 8/28/04...

It was a surprise birthday party for Jimmy, an old college friend of RT's. And man was he surprised. Not only because of the party but the fact that The Earthtones were the entertainment! It was in an old beautifully renovated building called the Foundry. I think it's safe to guess that it was a foundry at one time. A very cool place and man do Jimmy's friends and family know how to dance and party!

Happy Birthday from The Earthtones Jimmy!

Café 210, 8/27/04...

It's that time of year again.

WELCOME BACK STUDENTS!

It was a kickin' night at the Café with pretty much everybody there. The summer folks, the locals, returning students not to mention a lot of new faces. Thank you all for coming out and making it such an irie evening. As RT said, you are beautiful and we love ya!

A shout out to Jason, Tim & Bethany!

Peter Herdic House, Williamsport, PA 8/14/04...

What can we say? Private parties ROCK!

We played for the Williamsport Area High School Class Reunion at the Peter Herdic House a beautiful mansion turned restaurant. Check out the link and have your next private party here with the Earthtones as the live entertainment. The food was fabulous, the staff was great and the ambience was sublime. The fans danced the night away and had a great time. We hope to come back here soon.

Special thanks to Marcia and Gloria Miele for everything.

Private Party, Lock Haven, PA 8/7/04...

We love to play private parties and this was no exception. Thanks to Dave for the great food and drinks and everyone for moving your dancin' feet! We are getting into the wonderful habit of playing gigs either along the beautiful Susquehanna river or floating down it and we love it. It was a comfortable cool summer night and all was irie.

We will be looking for you folks to come to State College this Fall to continue the irie party.

Peace!

Café 210, 8/6/04...

We had a great night at the Café and to be honest we weren't expecting it. You know how it is...with the end of summer fast approaching, usually, everyone's on vacation. But thanks to you, our wonderful fans, we had a great party regardless. It was great to see all of your familiar faces and some new ones as well!

We can't thank you enough for your support.

Well, one way we can thank you is by bringing new and fresh exciting songs to add to our set list. We do have some surprises in store for you. So let's do it all over again Friday August 27th here at the Café.

Jah Guide and Peace to all!

Hiawatha Cruise, 7/24/04...

Ahhh....one of our favorite summer gigs is playing on a riverboat. We pass huge bon fires along the banks where people are partying. Small boats keep pace with us to listen to us and they blow their horns to applaud. It is sponsored & catered by Franco's Lounge Restaurant & Music Club in Williamsport, PA so the food is excellent. When you're in Williamsport and you want a great meal, you need to go to Franco's.

This show was SOLD OUT so you will need to reserve your ticket early for next years Earthtone performance on the Hiawatha.

Thanks Fred & Don.

Café 210, 7/23/04...

It's mid summer and things tend to slow down here in college land. If you're a local, it's a great time to get out and practically have the town to yourself. You know you want to do it. Put on your dancin' shoes go out and dance the night away before it's too late. Our last summer gig at the Café will be Friday, August 6th. so don't put it off any longer. Come out and lively up yourself with RT & The Earthtones.

A sound persons' work ethic and attention to detail greatly impacts our ability to give you our best performance. Thanks to sound engineer Chris Kepler not only for his fine sound system here at the Café but also for his help getting everything to run smoothly. .

Thanks also to the great staff here at Café 210. Special thanks to Hal and Cindy.

The Earthtones hope you are having a summer to remember and are honored that you've made us a part of it.

Peace!

Café 210, 6/17/04...

Hello State College! It was a great summer showing of irie partiers here at our home, Café 210 West. We saw many familiar faces and made many new friends too. We want to say thank you again to Jason Ebersole for filling in for Kep on bass and layin' down an irie groove that sent you all to the dance floor and kept you there all night. It was Jason's birthday this night and he played his heart out.

Happy Birthday Jason!

In other news:

RT tried out his new "in ear monitors" [like very expensive Walkman headphones] this night and after some initial set up and getting used to, we'd say the verdict is that they are a great investment for him and the band. As you can imagine it is vitally important for musicians be able to hear themselves on stage, especially vocalists since the only thing amplifying a voice against all of the other instruments is the monitoring system which is limited to how loud the sound person can turn it up before feedback occurs. In domino fashion this creates numerous problems for the whole band not to mention ear splitting howls from the system. Let's just say that it doesn't help us to keep our irie vibe when dealing with these problems. All I know is that in the 4 and a half years I've been in the band, it was the first night RT never once asked to have his voice turned up!

Hallelujah!

We look forward to seeing you again this Friday [7/23] at the Café for a most irie night. Please come celebrate with us and bring your friends to join in.

Peace!

Central PA Festival Of The Arts, 7/11/04...

FAN-TAS-TIC!!!

In one word, Fantastic describes the show at this years CPFA. How many people does the Penn State Old Main Lawn hold exactly? We don't know for sure but, we would venture to say that there were easily a few thousand of you there to celebrate the closing of this years Arts Festival with The Earthtones truly appreciate your doing so. We had some special guests this year as always. This time out we had for her first time Natalia Pilato on percussion. Fred "Omega Pi" danced his way across the stage as he has for many years now. Thanks to you both. This year we also had a very special guest sitting in with the band for his first time, Jordan Thompson, on guitar, keyboards and saxophone. Jordan is RT's 16 year old son who some of you might remember playing a plastic toy guitar on stage with the Earthtones when he was only 3 years old.

All in all we had a great time. The band felt really irie during the show and you all had a lot to do with that feeling. Thanks to you all for making this such a memorable evening. We hope to see you all again soon.

Respect!

Jah Guide!

Happy Fourth of July!

From RT & The Earthtones.

Peace!

Private Party, 7/3/04...

Wow....we played out in the middle of the woods on the deck of a beautiful home to some very well fed folks under a very large tent. It was peaceful and serene and perfect summer weather for an outdoor party. We'd like to thank master of simplicity, Don Oliver for doing sound. Also we want to thank bass player Jason Ebersole for doing his usual fine job of filling in for Chris Kepler.

Don't forget:

The Earthtones will be closing the 2004 Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts www.arts-festival.com .

The Earthtones send out a special prayer for Carol and best wishes in the future.

Jah Guide.

Le Bistro, 7/2/04...

I was great to come back again to Le Bistro on the outdoor deck at Raystown Marina. We want to thank everyone there for making it such an enjoyable time for us including Gina and Barbecue Bob who made some fabulous grilled meals right there next to us. It was an early gig for us [6 - 9 PM] but the weather was great. Also, we love to play outside during the summer and we love playing for appreciative establishments and audiences.

Thanks again and we hope to see you again next year!

Café 210, 6/11/04...

We had a fine time here at the Café this beautiful summer night. Perfect for the indoor and outdoor areas of the club. As usual you folks that came out to hear us danced the night away from the get go. And for that we thank you so much! We love the mix of folks who come out to see us here...people from all walks of life. While much of the rest of the country is divided; we are united here at the Café. We are united in our desire to party and celebrate in an irie way as well as united in an understanding that there is...

One World and One Love.

Something we need to tell the regime in power this November.

Peace!

Huntingdon Arts Festival, 6/12/04...

All right Huntingdon! We probably doubled our turn out here this year [our 3rd in a row]. We got to see the awards handed out for the best motorcycles and tatoos as we were setting up our gear. The bikes were fabulous. The tattos were hard to see and some were completely hidden. So w'ell have to take their word for it.

Thanks to Phil & Mike Reigh for the sound and we hope to see you all again next year. Bring more of your friends next time. If we can double it every year, we can work our way up towards the thousands that come to see us at the Central Pa Festival of the Arts in July.

Jah be with you.

Café 210, 6/11/04...

We thank you all very much! We had a great turn out for mid June. We apologize for our late start as there was a private party in progress at the time we would normally set up. But that's why we played until 2 AM! We must get our required amount of reggae with you to last us until the next time we come back to the Café. We all had a great time [as usual] and as always we look forward to doing it all over again with you;

Shout out to Anu!

We wanna reggae with you!

Peace!

Café 210, 5/28/04...

Summertime...and the livin' is irie.
We are into the rebuilding season at the Café 210. We know many of you have left for the summer and we do wish you all a great summer wherever you are, Here at home we need you to bring your friends along to the reggae party with The Earthtones here at the Café. The more the irier! We only play a select few shows locally here at the Café so check our schedule, sign up on our eMail List and don't miss a chance to dance to the deep reggae grooves at the most irie club in town with The Earthtones. .

Private Party, 5/27/04...

Our good friend Jill hired us to play this private party sponsored by D & H and Adobe Software. It was held at Angelina's near Harrisburg. It is a cool setting with the lights from the Harrisburg skyline reflecting off the river. People were listening to us out on the deck and dancing inside to the irie Caribbean sounds of the Earthtones. The food was great. The beer was great and the staff was great.

Thanks to all for a wonderful time!

S.H.A.R.E. Festival, 5/22/04...

Ahhh, this is one of our favorite events to be a part of. What an irie experience! As always. We want to thank everyone there who made it possible especially, Mike Banks. The weather was great. The food was great. the stage was great. Special thanks to My Wife's Sound Company for doing as usual an excellent job. We very much look forward to coming back. If you want to experience this irie event you need to get to know someone who gets an invite. Then they can invite you. That's how it works.

Until next time....Jah Guide!

Café 210, 5/21/04...

Because of our Web site being down for a few weeks, I can not remember how this show went. Needless to say it was a drag having our Web site off line for so long. Thanks to Ron Klinger at JDWEB for getting us back online. We don't really know how or why it happened and we apologize to anyone trying to access this site and getting the meaningless page that was put in it's place. We may have been hacked into by someone who disagrees with our politics, who knows. If that's the case, it's a shame because we believe that we live in a free country where freedom of speech is one of our most sacred rights and we will continue to do our patriotic duty and exercise our rights.

The truth shall set you free.

Peace!

Café 210, 5/8/04...

Last night we finally had a less than full house here at the Café. Understandably a lot of you have packed up and headed home for the summer or a new job that awaits you. None-the-less, we saw a lot of familiar faces and to you we thank you for your support. We met some new friends who have been coming regularly as well. We appreciate your energy, kind words and irie spirit. We hope to see many of you during the summer semester when the weather is truly perfect for the island sounds of Caribbean music.

Congratulations to all graduating seniors!

We wish you much success in your future. Remember to never give up on your dreams.

Jah Guide!

A special shout out to Patty, Earthtones supporter for over 12 years!

Café 210, 4/30/04...

Back at the Café...back at the Café...back at the Café 210!!!

Every night here at our home is now a house full of irie revelers. We can't thank you all enough. We love playing for you all and we feel the love coming back. It is truly a highlight for us coming here to party with you all. You have made us feel that all of our hard work behind the scenes has been well worth it. We are constantly working on new material and sprucing up the old favorites. We are bringing in current material and even writing more originals. Currently, we are working on a new original written by our keyboard player, Roger Emes, called Babylon Prayer. It is a moving melodic reggae song that is also timely in it's message. We hope to debut it soon.

They say every band must find it's audience and it looks like we have found ours right here in our own back yard. We see many familiar faces and we also see many new faces which means, you are bringing your friends along and that is what makes it all happen thanks to you.

We can't wait to see you again.

Peace!

The Valley Inn, 3/24/04...

A last minute change at the Valley Inn had the Earthtones sharing the night with Town Hall. Town Hall is an excellent band and we really enjoyed their performance. After their set, we took the stage and got y'all up and dancin'. We thank you for your enthusiasm. .

We are still trying to build up our following here in the Williamsport area and we really need your support. We will be back here again soon so come out and bring along your friends. With your help we can make The Valley Inn our regular stop in the area and have irie parties throughout the year.Special thanks to Don Oliver for his usual great job with the sound!

Café 210, 4/3/04...

Woah Yeah! 3 Weeks in a row at the Café and 3 weeks in a row of full house jam packed enthusiastic crowds!

Lemme hear ya scream!

Wow, what can we say except it's been a blast and we owe it all to you. Thanks not only for being there and bringing out your friends for a irie time with The Earthtones but thanks also for making us look good to Hal and the staff. They appreciate your irie vibe too and that all means that we have firmly established ourselves here and look forward to many, many more irie nights with you all at Café 210.

Thanks to Hal, Paul, Dave, Cindy & staff for treating us so well too!

Special shout out to Rosemary!

Peace!

Café 210, 3/19/04...

An unexpected last minute booking at the Café brought an unexpected full house to the night. Thank you all for coming out to hear us on such short notice. For those of you who requested songs that we didn't have time to play, or you got there late and missed them, we will be back at the Café THIS Friday again for our previously scheduled performance. We will be happy to play the songs you requested.

Technically, it is Spring but, Mother Nature decides when she's ready. If we all think Spring maybe we can nudge her in that direction.

Have a great week and we'll see you all again Friday.

Peace!

Café 210, 2/28/04...

Hallelu-Jah!

Without fanfare, The Earthtones debuted 3 new songs this night. A new soca, "No, We Ain't Goin' Home" that ended the first set, plus "Black Survivors",and "Get Busy", which began the second set. First performances of new songs are always a bit scary for a band. They usually don't go as well as in rehearsal but they usually get better with each performance. As for these 3, overall, we think they're off to a great start. We hope you agree. If yes or if not, you can let us know by contacting us via the email link on our website or by clicking here.

We had a great turn-out thank you very much. Thanks to you, we've built up a great crowd of folks who regularly come out to the Café 210 to sing and dance with us We always have a great time with you all and this night was no exception.

Happy Birthday to our keyboard player, Kamau!

Peace!

Valley Inn, 2/7/04...

Our first time here at the Valley Inn was off to a good start. We will be back here again March 27th. So all of you who came out to hear us this time please come back and bring your friends and show them what an irie party is all about. Thanks to staff and sound people for treating us well.

See you again soon!

Café 210, 2/6/04...

A fine night at the Café 210. A great turn out...and thanks so much for the encore request [without any help from us too ;)]. Sometimes we end the night and folks want to hear more but it seems that people have forgotten how to ask for more. RT sometimes explains that traditionally, audiences would yell, scream and clap for more music which bands are happy to provide. These days it seems that more and more, audiences have forgotten how to ask for an encore. Maybe it has something to do with the availability of great electronic home systems and not really experiencing the live thing even when watching a live performance on VHS or DVD.

Anyhow, this night when we finished you burst into screams and clapping for more and the Earthtones were only too happy to oblige.

Thanks to all who came out to party with us and we will see you again soon. To those who missed us last time, please come back for our Feb. 28th show here at Café 210.

Until next time...

Peace!

Café 210, 1/16/04...

Welcome back everybody!

And a welcome back party was had. It's good to see all of you again and welcome to those of you seeing the Earthtones for the first time. We made a lot of new friends last night and we hope to see you again too. We'd like to shout out a big hello to Melissa, Andrea, Kelly, Sarah and last but not least, Angie. We'd also like to thank Hubie for mixing our sound and Chris Kepler for setting up the PA. As RT mentioned, our next gig at the Café' will be on Bob Marley's birthday. So we're going to have a special Bob Marley Tribute show that evening.

We hope to see you all come out, Friday February 6th for an extra big helping of Marley tunes. Come sing and dance along while we pay tribute to one of the greatest singer/songwriters of all time.

Peace!

Café 210, 1/10/04...

"J Man" kicks butt for The Earthtones!

The Earthtones are fortunate enough to have other musicians who can fill in when someone can't make a gig or be added for extra big shows on bass, drums, guitar or horns. This particular evening Jason Ebersole filled in for our regular bass player, Chris Kepler, and as always, did an outstanding job. Jason believe us when we say, "we don't take you for granted". A big thanks to Jason and all of you who came out to have an irie par-tee with The Earthtones!

Peace!

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2004!

We look forward to the new year and ask Jah for leadership that understands that Peace On Earth does not come about from bombs and war. Violence is the choice of those who lack the intelligence, desire and compassion to understand their fellow man.. Let those of us who truly understand what freedom and peace are about, take back our future in 2004.

Tussey Mountain, 12/31/03...

The Earthtones rang in the new year with reggae, how else? The food was excellent, the vibes were irie and the band got down with some crucial reggae grooves. Thanks to all who came out to ring in 2004 with us!

Best wishes in 2004 from the Earthtones!

December 17th, 2003

The band sends it's condolences out to RT and his family on the passing of his sister Jasmine. She turned RT onto reggae music when he was growing up. She will surely be missed.

Shine on Jasmine.

Café 210, 12/13/03...

Well, we can't have SRO every night. But I must say, we saw a lot of familiar faces and had a great turn out none-the-less. We understand that most of you are focused on finals, graduating and the holidays. We congratulate all graduating seniors and wish you all great success in your future. And to everyone we wish you all a very happy & safe holiday season..
Come back soon for more news!
