"From central PA , John has played in symphonic, jazz and marching bands as well as many local rock, funk, and blues bands. He has been a drummer for over 32 years and received a minor in music from Lehigh University with an emphasis on composition and studio technique. Currently he is building his own personal recording studio in his home. John is a rock solid fluid drummer ,who drops us right in the pocket. He also plays hand percussion, keyboards, trombone and can sing like James Brown. Someday we will get him to sing with The Earthtones. He is an electrical engineer by day, and has been laying down the reggae groove with The Earthtones by night since February 2001. "

Secrets: John sings lead vocal, and plays keyboards and trombone fronting the funk band "Phat Albert".
